Port armor marina is now part of reynolds plantation and i believe that it is members/ homeowners only. the bp is in a pretty good location. the marathon down the road also has a boat ramp if you wanted to use that, but by water it would be a little bit of a ride back to the area that you normally put in..
Owner description: young harris water sports provides pontoon, ski boat, and jet ski rentals at various onsite locations as well as delivery service. we partner with the ridges resort on lake chatuge, the rtiz-carlton lodge at reynolds plantation & boathouse marina on lake oconee.. The boat ramp is within walking distance - maybe 3 blocks. very friendly neighborhood, friendly people as well as dogs. one or two may stop by to say hello and try to catch the tiny fish in the shallow water. there is a wooded empty lot to the left of our house.. And remember your are actually entering reynolds plantation golf course. you have to go through the golf course gate, they collect the $3.oo for the state and then you follow the signs. on the water its way up richland creek on the left, look for the giant boat storage building. hope this helps, good luck..
