Easy Homemade Boat Motor
Today i go over the mud motor i made. i made it from plans off of ebay and it turned out pretty good. this project cost about $400-$500. ebay plans vovchik1980.. Then, i made my homemade jet boat, that was very cool and i did a video about it: but the motor was a brushed one, so the lipo battery (11.1v) fried it. later on, i searched on youtube about brushless motors and found that they are insanely good.. Briggs straton are now making a boat motor with 5 hp 8hp or so .it is a lawn mower engine .they have worked the bugs out .and seem pretty cool probably be just as cheap to buy one new from them. dont know the web site .should be easy to find.
Hi, i would like to make a small motor for my kayak as i don't have enought money to buy an outboads motor. i think about an brushcutter motor to make a mud motor style for my kayak.. I have a nicely styled boat with a 35 hp johnston seahorse motor. have title for boat documents clearing it from the state of oregon. willing to separate the motor from the boat for price..
